Students at our school recently had the enriching opportunity to participate in an Opera and Jazz Small Workshop led by Sahara González, a talented mezzo-soprano. Engaging in a diverse array of singing styles, ranging from classical opera to contemporary jazz, students experienced a vibrant exploration of vocal expression. Under Sahara’s guidance, they delved into the nuances of each genre, honing their techniques and broadening their musical horizons. With lively participation and enthusiastic engagement, the students embraced the challenge of mastering new vocal techniques while discovering the beauty and intricacies of opera and jazz performance.
