WORD PEACE DAY  AT CADI

Students from Colegio Aleman del Istmo commemorated World Peace Day last September 21 by sporting white t-shirts and blue jeans.

September 21st is celebrated as World Peace Day every year. It was established by the UN in 1981 with the goal of strengthening world peace and supporting initiatives to settle conflicts and disagreements.

The day is marked by various events, activities, and initiatives aimed at fostering understanding, tolerance, and cooperation among nations and communities. It serves as a reminder of the importance of peaceful coexistence and the collective responsibility to work towards a more harmonious and equitable world.

Themes for World Peace Day vary from year to year, focusing on specific aspects of peace-building, such as disarmament, conflict resolution, or environmental sustainability. It’s a time for individuals, organizations, and governments to reflect on their roles in creating and maintaining a more peaceful global community.
